How can professional behavior and dress influence others’ perception of someone?

A CEO consistently arrives late, gives briefings while wearing pajamas, and shows up in front of stockholders wearing a hoodie. However you are picturing this person in your mind now, change this person’s gender. Now change this person’s race.

A CEO consistently arrives on time and is always dressed in a well-fitted suit for meetings, presentations, and public events. Again, however you are picturing this person in your mind now, change this person’s gender. Now change this person’s race.

Based on those two scenarios, how would you describe the importance of professional behavior and the impact dress can have on others’ perception of someone? Follow up on any questions asked of your initial post and contribute to at least two others' postings.
