CS 120 - Digital Literacy

Ever wondered why your computer display looks the way it does? It's largely controlled by the operating system installed. There are many different operating systems, some more similar than others. This Module will cover some of the most common operating systems, Windows, Windows 7, and Windows 8.

Module Outcomes:

• Identify the parts of a computer and their features and functions and recognize the advantages and limitations of important peripheral devices.

• Identify and describe the features of desktop and specialized computer operating systems and understand the importance of system utilities, backups, and file management.
