BI 102 - General Biology

For the majority of Credit Unit 3 you will be studying genetics and inheritance patterns, but before you can dive into that subject it is important to have a strong understanding of how cells reproduce themselves, and how organisms create gametes, or egg and sperm.

Module Outcomes:

• Outline in general terms the behavior of chromosomes and genes in mitotic and meiotic cell division, and how these processes relate to body structure and function, asexual reproduction, sexual reproduction, and genetic diversity.
