BI 102 - General Biology

The Lab will require all of the following:

• Two pennies or other coins

• One medicine dropper, preferably that makes small drops (has a narrow opening at the tip).

• Two large drinking glasses (pint size or larger). A large jar or glass measuring cup would also work, as long as the container is large enough to hold 16 ounces of liquid, is see through, and is taller than it is wide.

• Dish soap, you will need only one or two drops.

• Approximately 1 ½ cups of cooking oil, canola or other type of vegetable oil will do, whatever you have on hand.

• Food coloring

• A willing volunteer to help with one of the experiments.
