BI 101 - General Biology

Before you begin this Module, you will need to acquire to following items: 

Tabletop Lab- Microbe Diversity 

• Bacteria culture plates that you were instructed to set up 2 days prior to when you anticipate starting the Lab for this Module. 

• 5 large objects, such as bricks, blocks of wood or cans

• Index cards and large marker

CU3 M2 Lab Preparation

You will need the following supplies to prepare your spore print:

• Kitchen knife and cutting board
• 1 mature mushroom (with gills visible) – purchased fresh from grocery store
• Deli container (like for sour cream) or a small bowl
• 1 black and white blotter paper –  found on page 2 of the lab preparation document.
